Transitive Corporation Appoints Steven W. Mih Vice President of Sales

Los Gatos, CA – May 19, 2003 –Transitive Corporation™, the leading provider of software that enables transportability of applications across multiple processors, today announced the appointment of Steven W. Mih to the position of Vice President of Western US & Asian Sales. In his new post, Mr. Mih will be responsible for defining and executing Transitive’s sales strategy in the North America, and Asia Pacific regions. Mr. Mih will report directly to Bob Wiederhold, Transitive President and CEO.

Mr. Mih has a number of years of sales and management experience, most recently as Director of Sales, responsible for the product and service business at Cadence Design Systems Inc., a leading electronic design automation company. Prior to that, Mr. Mih, held various sales roles at Advanced Micro Devices, selling to large OEMs in the PC and networking industry.
